Participants of Domestic Strategic Study, 2019 Batch LIX Regular Education Program, Republic of Indonesia National Defensive Institute, visited Petrokimia Gresik (PG). The 28 participants were welcomed by PG Production Director, I Ketut Rusnaya and PG Marketing Director Meinu Sadariyo, at Wisma Kebomas on Wednesday (03/07/2019).
Head of the group, Inspector General of Police. Drs. Sam Budigusdian, said that for five days (1-5/7/2019), the participants had been visiting various strategic institutions which were national potential and assets.
"Fertilizer producers are strategic industries in order to support National Food Security. So our visit to Petrokimia Gresik is very appropriate", he said.
He hoped the participants could understand the role of Pupuk Indonesia holding members on national development, as well as had a comprehensive understanding of PG as a strategic object (national vital object)
PG Production Director, I Ketut Rusnaya said, PG always committed to support the Government in implementing National Food Security. For this reason, PG was striving to make innovative breakthroughs, as well as to perform business transformation towards an agro-industry solution company. "PG currently has products from upstream to downstream", said Ketut
PG Marketing Director, Meinu Sadariyo added that PG also continued to explore the foreign market development, and to perform fertilizer export according to foreign market demand. To meet domestic and foreign market demands, PG also continued to transform its products and marketing.
"Exports are carried out after domestic fertilizer needs are met", said Meinu.
