Pier / Jetty

PT Petrokimia Gresik has a loading and unloading jetty with its lay out of a "T" with a length of 819 meters and a width of 36 meters. The dock is equipped with a continuous ship unloader (CSU) with a capacity of 2,000 tons/hour, 2 units kangaroo crane with a capacity of 7,000 tons/day, 2 units of ship loader with a capacity of each 1500 tons/day, conveyor belt along the 22 miles, and piping facilities for liquid materials. On the ocean side of the pier, it is reliable for 3 ships weighing 40,000 tons, and on the land side can be with deadweight of 10,000 tons.

Power Generator

To meet the needs and to ensure the sustainability of the supply of electric power, and to sustain smoothness of plant operation, PT Petrokimia Gresik operates gas turbine generator (GTG) and a steam turbine generator (STG) which are capable of generating electric power of 53 MW.

Water Purification Unit

PT Petrokimia Gresik has two water purification units which are located in Gunungsari Surabaya byusing the Brantas river, and in Babat Lamongan by utilizing the Bengawan Solo river water. The total capacity of water flown into Gresik of two water purification units is in the amount of 3,200 m3 / h.

Waste Treatment Unit

As an environmentally and friendly company, PT Petrokimia Gresik continually strives to minimize the waste as a result of the production process, so it does not harm the surrounding environment. PT Petrokimia Gresik performs waste management by using a system of reuse, recycle and recovery (3R) with the support of; liquid waste treatment plant with a capacity of 240 m3 / h, emissions control facilities in each unit of production, including bag filters, a cyclonic separator, dust collector, electric precipitator (EP), dust scrubbers, etc.

Distribution Facilities

PT Petrokimia Gresik has a Warehouse Distribution Center in Medan, Lampung, Padang, Cigading, Banyuwangi, Makasar and Gresik

Laboratory

The laboratories of PT Petrokimia Gresik are; Production Laboratory, Calibration Laboratory, Testing Laboratory of Chemicals, Testing of Mechanical Laboratory, Electrical Testing Laboratory, valve Test, the Air Permeability Test, etc.

Experimental Farm (Buncob)

To test the research results and formulas obtained in the laboratory, PT Petrokimia Gresik has 5-hectare experimental stations that are equipped with a laboratory for soil, plant and tissue culture, greenhouse, mini plant of NPK fertilizer, organic fertilizer plant (Petroganik), biofertilizers and Petroseed (certified rice seeds). In general the farm serves to: Place a commercial product testing, pilot plant and animal maintenance, environmental indicators, research and development of innovative products, media learning and study tours for students, farmers and public in general, as well as education and training facilities. In this experiment, the garden, every year, holds Petro Agrifood Expo as one of the events of the anniversary of PT Petrokimia Gresik.
