PT Petrokimia Gresik (PG) won the Platinum Award for the category of Large Organizations of Chemical and Multi-various Goods in the 2018 Indonesian National Standard (SNI) Award, held by the National Standardization Agency (BSN) in Jakarta. The award was given by the Minister of Industry, Republic of Indonesia, Airlangga Hartarto, to PG President Director, Rahmad Pribadi, during the 2018 SNI Awarding Night in the Intercontinental Hotel Jakarta, November 21st, 2018.
SNI Award is the highest award by Republic of Indonesia to the organizations which are considered to have conducted good operational management systems and have consistently applied the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). The SNI Award assessment process is carried out strictly by team of adjudicators, chaired by economist Rhenald Kasali, and consists of 19 members who are experts in the field of standardization and conformity assessment. SNI Award assesses various aspects that can encourage the organizational progress in realizing better performance, including management and leadership, customer focus, resource development, product management/realization, and business results.
The Platinum award achieved by PG for two consecutive years is a form of public recognition of company performance in maintaining the quality of its products, as an effort to become a company for Agroindustry Solutions. As a holding member of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), PG is determined to provide the best for Indonesia progress, especially in the fields of agriculture and agroindustry.
"This award will be an encouragement for all PG employees to continue in maintaining the product quality and management even better," PG Managing Director, Rahmad Pribadi said.
